Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Southern Homestyle Buttermilk Biscuits: Their fluffy, golden layers create the perfect base for these sandwiches and hold everything together. Plus, we love how they bring homemade baked goodness to this recipe.
Deli Honey Ham: The meat adds a savory, slightly sweet bite that balances nicely with the cheese. If you don’t have ham on hand, you can sub in any deli meat of your choice!
Swiss Cheese: This melts into gooey perfection, giving each sandwich creamy, tangy richness. If you don’t like Swiss, you can switch in any cheese you want.
Other Ingredients You’ll Need: Butter adds richness and helps the biscuits bake up golden-brown, tangy Dijon mustard cuts through that richness, and soy sauce brings an irresistibly savory note. A sprinkle of poppy seed adds crunch!
Turning classic ham and cheese into warm, buttery sliders couldn’t be easier. Here’s a brief overview of the steps; read on for the full recipe!
Pre-bake Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Southern Homestyle Buttermilk Biscuits for just a bit less time than the package directions state—just enough so they’re fluffy and can be pulled apart. We found that baking about 12 minutes is the perfect amount.
Split the biscuits in half and layer them in a baking dish. Then, pile on folded slices of ham and Swiss cheese so every biscuit becomes its own little sandwich.
Combine melted butter, Dijon mustard, poppy seed, and soy sauce to create a rich, buttery glaze to pour over the top. For the best flavor, the sauce should be mixed until it emulsifies, so the ingredients fully combine to create a smooth sauce.
A quick trip back to the oven finishes the dish, giving you golden-topped, melty, savory sandwiches that are just as perfect for game day parties as they are for weeknight dinners.
Leftovers don’t last long with these hot ham and cheese biscuit sandwiches, but if you’re lucky enough to have some, they reheat easily for another round of melty, savory goodness.
Store leftover sliders in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
We wouldn’t recommend freezing these hot ham and cheese biscuit sandwiches as the texture of the biscuits will not hold up when thawed and reheated.
Microwave each serving on a plate in 1-minute intervals on High, or put sandwiches on a baking sheet and heat in a 350°F oven for 10 minutes, until heated through.

Heat oven to 350°F. Separate 1 can refrigerated Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Southern Homestyle Buttermilk Biscuits into 8 biscuits. On ungreased large baking sheet, place biscuits 2 inches apart. Bake 12 minutes or until tops start to turn light golden brown and inside of biscuits are cooked.

Lightly grease or spray 13x9-inch (3-quart) baking dish. Carefully split each biscuit in half. Line bottom of baking dish with bottom half of each biscuit.

Fold ham slices; place 2 slices on each biscuit. Top each with 1 slice cheese and biscuit top.

In small bowl, whisk together melted butter, mustard, poppy seed, and soy sauce. Pour over tops of biscuits to cover.

Bake 20 to 23 minutes or until tops of biscuits are deep golden brown. Enjoy warm!
