Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Buttermilk Biscuits: Not only are these biscuits flaky and full of flavor, they’re easy to work with, too. They make a great base for your dumplings.
Progresso™ Reduced Sodium Chicken Broth: This pre-made broth is a simple choice for your dish. The reduced sodium version makes it easy to customize the saltiness to your taste.
Ranch Salad Dressing & Seasoning Mix: Ranch seasoning works perfectly in this dish. With garlic, onion, dill, parsley, and chives, ranch seasoning helps you to flavor your dish without requiring too many individual spices in your cupboard.
Other Ingredients You’ll Need: Shredded cheddar cheese makes this dish ultra-creamy. The shredded cooked chicken adds hearty flavor and protein to the recipe. Simple black pepper brings mild heat and flavor to round out your dinner.
A comforting dinner is within reach! Our chicken and dumplings for two comes together in a few easy steps.

Cut each biscuit in half lengthwise, and cut each half into 4 pieces.
Add your biscuit pieces to the broth, ranch, and chicken mixture. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring frequently, until your dumplings are cooked all the way through and the mixture has thickened.
Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until it melts into the mixture. Serve right away.
This recipe is tailor-made for two people, but you might still have leftovers! If you do, here’s how to handle them:
You can store leftovers in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
We do not recommend storing leftovers in the freezer. The texture of the biscuits could deteriorate when thawed.
Reheat leftovers on the stove. We recommend doing so in a pot over medium heat until the mixture starts to simmer.

In 1 1/2- or 2-quart saucepan, heat broth, ranch seasoning mix, pepper, and chicken to boiling.

Cut each biscuit in half lengthwise, and cut each half into 4 pieces.

Add biscuit pieces to boiling mixture. Reduce heat to medium; simmer uncovered 5 to 7 minutes, stirring frequently, until dumplings are cooked through and mixture is slightly thickened.

Stir in cheddar cheese until cheese melts. Serve immediately.

Let biscuits stand at room temperature for 30 to 45 minutes to thaw.
This recipe makes 2 large servings. If desired, you can divide it into 3 or 4 smaller servings.
