


In large, 1-gallon plastic food-storage bag, mix granulated sugar and cinnamon. Separate dough into a total of 16 biscuits; cut each into quarters. Shake in bag to coat. Arrange in pan. Evenly sprinkle any remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture over top. Mix brown sugar and butter; slowly pour over biscuit pieces.


For the best results, keep the biscuit dough in the refrigerator until just before you use it. Warm dough might get sticky and be hard to handle.
For this pull-apart bread recipe, we use a 12-cup fluted tube pan. To check the volume, simply pour 12 cups of water into the pan. This will confirm that there is enough space in the pan for this recipe to bake properly.
If the monkey bread is browning too quickly but isn’t fully baked, loosely cover the top with aluminum foil. This will prevent further browning while allowing the bread to bake evenly.
