Pillsbury™ Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough: This cookie dough creates gooey, delicious cookies that pair perfectly with crescents. Plus, it’s simple to use, so the recipe comes together effortlessly!
Powdered Sugar: Powdered sugar acts as a sweet base for this recipe’s glaze. Unlike regular sugar, it dissolves quickly and smoothly for the best consistency.
Other Ingredients You’ll Need: Chopped pecans act as a crunchy element that goes perfectly with the sweetness and softness of the rest of the dessert. Milk smooths and thickens your glaze while vanilla adds flavor that complements the recipe.
This recipe requires only a few steps for an easy and delicious dessert. This is a summary of the steps; see the full recipe below when you’re ready to begin.
Lightly spray a 9-inch round cake pan or glass pie plate with cooking spray to keep the ingredients from sticking.
If you’re using crescent rolls, unroll the dough and separate into 2 long rectangles. Overlap long sides 1/2 inch to form 1 large rectangle. Firmly press down on seams and perforations to seal. If you’re using a dough sheet, simply unroll the dough.
Spoon small amounts of cookie dough evenly over your crescent dough, and press or pat to evenly cover the dough. Sprinkle pecans on top of the cookie dough. Starting at the long side, roll the dough and pinch the seams to seal. Cut into 12 pieces, and arrange with the cut side up in your sprayed pan.
Bake for 28 to 35 minutes at 350°F or until the crescent dough is golden brown.
While the rolls are baking, mix glaze ingredients in a small bowl. Add enough milk for your desired drizzling consistency.
Cool the rolls for 15 minutes after removing from the oven. Drizzle the glaze over the rolls. Serve warm.
If you have some leftovers, you can continue to enjoy them for days after you bake! 55

Meanwhile, in small bowl, mix glaze ingredients, adding enough milk for desired drizzling consistency. Drizzle over warm rolls. Serve warm.

When you’re cutting the dough log into 12 pieces, start by cutting it in half. Then, cut the halves in half; cut those pieces into thirds. Doing it this way gives you more evenly-sized pieces.
Use a serrated knife to make cutting the dough easier.
You can swap the pecans for other nuts if preferred. We suggest walnuts as a good alternative.
